“THE ROAD TO WAR” explores how the Sarajevo assassination that led to World War I came about and features international historians, previously unseen archive footage and complex re-enactments.
The documentary also examines how Austria-Hungary used the murder of Franz Ferdinand, heir to the Austrian throne, to launch a war against Serbia that soon became a global conflict.
